A real treat! I also own "Advanced Style: Older & Wiser" and this is another wonderful publication. The (many) photos are very colorful and joyful, plus there's some delightful commentary.For those of you in metro NYC: Mr. Cohen will do a book event at Strand Books on January 24, from 7-8 p.m. (advance reservations are required).An absolute treasure I've never seen anything quite like this... a collection of the most colorful, inspiring couples who impart such varied and heartfelt wisdom on love and living. Our world would be a much better place if everyone could see these photos and read these stories. What I found especially gratifying were the honest portrayals of each couple's unique journey - and you realize that though love is a universal language, no two people will ever experience it in exactly the same way. Whether or not you are a fan of Ari Seth Cohen's other work (Advanced Style), his new project is worth owning and sharing with everyone you love -- it's what we all desperately need right now. Bravo to Ari!Love it! I love the other Advanced Style books, blogs, and Instagram. I expect inspirational photography and interesting people from Advanced Style, which this book definitely delivers. However about half way through the book I realized that there are some deeply emotional stories and lessons for love which I hope to apply in my own life. The stories in this book don’t depict a one-size-fits-all kind of love, they tell many stories of many different varieties of love. Highly recommended.
